Competitive Dance Teams: Ages 6-18

Being on our dance team is a wonderful opportunity to develop technical dance skills while making great friends and building confidence. Our dance team students experience the joy of performing at various regional dance competition events in the area and working together with their team to learn and grow as dancers. This is a full school-year commitment, September through June, and requires regular attendance in classes and rehearsals.

We welcome new dancers into our competitive program each year. Participation in the classes listed in the bullet points of each age are the minimum requirements with the option to add more styles. If you are new to our studio or interested in learning how to be on our dance team please contact our office to schedule a meeting.

All requirements must be taken at Faith School of Dance. 

Competitive Dance requires more dedication on both the dancer and the guardians effort. 

 

All dancers wished to participate in competitive dance in our 2023-2024 season are required to attend a mandatory signup and question meeting on May 16th at 5:00pm with one parent.

                                      Faith School of Dance Dance Team Tuition, Fees, and Requirements

Tuition: (Discussed at Company Meeting)

(This includes the 1.5 Hour Competition Class, 1 Technique Class of your choosing (Ballet or Acro) and 1 Other class of your choosing (Ballet, Acro, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap or HipHop) and a 30 minute Bi-Weekly Private Lesson.

Summer Company Camp/Choreography Fees

All Competitions Members will attend a week long company camp August 7th-10th

This company camp will be a wide variety of information, choreography, styles, audition process, improv practice, turns and leap practice, flexibility and stretching and more. 

Camp will be Monday-Thursday from 8:30am till 3pm 

Please bring water, snacks and a reusable plastic or thermal water and a packed healthy lunch. We will have a way to refill their water bottle.

Mandatory Dress Code: Black Leotard and Tights all Competition Shoes (Lyrical/Jazz Half Sole Turners and Ballet Shoes)

These shoes need to be a certain brand and color so will need to be purchased through the studio.
